Sekhmet’s Fire ~ Anger That Heals

Lake Chabot, Castro Valley, CA
Open to All
Adults $20-$15, Youth $10
*No one turned away due to lack of funds, please reach out*At Lammas, we gather around the fire to celebrate the first harvest—a time to give thanks for what has come to fruition and to acknowledge what still longs for our care.
Together we will share in ritual, drumming, song and movement as we enter sacred circle and explore one of our most misunderstood emotions: anger.
For many of us, anger has been silenced, feared, or carried alone. Yet beneath its intensity often lives something deeply worthy of our attention—a longing, a wound, a boundary, a truth waiting to be spoken.
With the fierce and compassionate presence of Sekhmet, lion-headed goddess of healing and transformation, as our guide, we will journey inward to meet the parts of ourselves that carry anger and the wisdom they hold. Drawing from ritual, somatic awareness, and parts work, we'll listen for what our bodies have been trying to tell us, tending our anger not as a problem to solve, but as a sacred messenger inviting us home to ourselves. Together we'll explore how this powerful force can become a source of clarity, healthy boundaries, vitality, and deeper self-trust.
This is not about learning to express anger "better" or getting rid of it. It is an invitation to come into relationship with it—to discover what it protects, what it loves, and what it asks of us.
Whether this is your first ritual or one of many, you are warmly welcome. Bring your whole self—your gratitude, your joy, your grief, your rage. There is room for all of it around the fire.

Witches Winter Sleepover
January 16th to 18th, 2027
The Russian River Area, California
Women Only
Join us in the quiet heart of winter for a cozy and transformative Witches Sleepover nestled among the redwoods of the Russian River at a historic inn steeped in charm and atmosphere.
Guided by Artio, the Bear Goddess of wilderness, sovereignty, protection, and renewal, this intimate retreat invites us to enter the metaphorical cave of winter—a sacred space of rest, reflection, healing, and transformation.
As the earth turns inward, we too are called to slow down and listen deeply to what is stirring beneath the surface. Together we will gather in sacred circle to share ritual, healing, nourishment, laughter, and rest. Between ceremonies and quiet moments, we’ll soak beneath the winter sky in the hot tub, allowing warmth, water, and stillness to become part of the medicine of the retreat.
Artio reminds us that healing does not always emerge through striving, but through retreat, incubation, and trusting the wisdom of the dark season. In the cave, transformation quietly unfolds.
This gathering welcomes those longing for sacred community, winter restoration, and deeper connection with themselves, the season, and the ancient wisdom carried within.
